The invitation is housed inside a cardboard box lined with black paper, adding an air of elegance and mystery. The box dimensions are 10 cm x 10 cm x 8.5 cm, providing a compact and visually appealing presentation.
What sets this invitation apart is the use of different materials and elements. The logo, a circle, is represented by a ball of translucent acrylic that holds the invitation. Inside the ball, various materials such as salt and red peppers are placed to evoke tactile and olfactory sensations. When the invitation is opened, the aroma of the spices interacts with the senses, creating a truly immersive experience.
Marcelo Lopes Design faced the challenge of attracting a larger number of guests to the launch event, especially for the press conference. However, the unique and interactive nature of the invitation exceeded expectations, drawing in more attendees than anticipated. The invitation's ability to engage and captivate guests proved to be a successful strategy.
The design process for the invitation took a total of 20 days, with 10 days dedicated to the creation and approval stage, and another 10 days for production. The team at Marcelo Lopes Design seamlessly translated the new brand concept into the invitation, ensuring a cohesive and impactful representation of Agraz Restaurant's vision.
This innovative invitation has garnered recognition in the design community. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2013 in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill showcased in the invitation.
